Does the job

We bought this when the compressor in our 10 year old fridge died. We have not even had it a month, so still getting used to the new layout/set up. Everything works as expected. The only thing that has been out of the ordinary was that the ice dispenser was LOUD when we first got it. After about a week, I found a few pieces of plastic in my drink one evening. I emptied the ice and closely inspected it but found no other evidence of more pieces. After that, it is not as loud.

Initial disappointment

First machine did’t cool. By the time we discover it was’nt cooling and receipt of replacement we experienced a great deal of frustration and spoiled food. The 2nd fridge works very well, it’s spacious, well thought out and cools extremely well.

What I would Improve........the door Ice and water switches...they should NOT require that much pressure (force) to activate and the lower half of the paddles should be what activates the switches (Not the top)!!

Uneven temp

Doors didn’t shut correct had to adjust No butter compartment or egg tray. Freezer drawer slides open when you open door, shelves not adjustable. Refrig temp varies , factory setting froze eggs , can’ Put things on top shelf that will freeze . Ice maker small and loud when dispensing.

Plenty of Shelves and Storage

Love my new Whirlpool refrigerator. It makes ice like crazy, has a boatload of door features and has many movable shelves and plenty of storage bins. You can really stay organized with this unit. Clean lines add to the design.
