Sleek look, bright inside, produces plenty of ice

We are enjoying this new refrigerator. Kids like the crushed ice and water being accessible closer to their height, too. The LED lights inside provide lots of light to see everything. For some reason, the space feels like there is less available than our older and smaller refrigerator but I'm not sure why. For our needs, we pulled out the bottle shelf to make more room and are probably going to purchase a "regular" shelf on the refrigerator side.

We recently moved from a house were we had an extra freezer to a Condo. The large freezer section in this model has handled our purchases without a problem.

Just had this installed as part of our kitchen remodel. It is a very attractive appliance and is extremely well lit inside. Also seems to be very spacious.

It's brand new- has never worked since day 1!!We have had nothing but issues since we got this. At first we thought the ice maker didn't work. Called in and they put in a warranty claim. The repair company never came out, called and said oh, it's a common problem. They said they had to order a door that takes 10 weeks to come in! We then noticed that the freezer wasn't getting to freezing temps. Maybe had they sent a technician out they would have discovered that. Placed another call and now waiting to hear from the tech that was supposed to call me right away! Finally went back to Lowe's and they will replace, but again it's going to take 4 weeks to get a new one in. Only buy if you can do without for weeks on end!!

I bought this refrigerator to replace my truly beautiful GE Monogram because it had a continuous problem with moisture. So far, this Kitchenaid has been great. I don't know what will follow, but I'm liking it! I also love the ice reservoir in the door. It's a great use of space. I am going to have to purchase additional shelves to maximize the space.
