KitchenAid 23.8 cu. ft. 36" Counter-Depth French Door Refrigerator - Stainless Steel

I will keep this short since my experience has been so frustrating. Ice-maker and water dispenser not working properly since 1 month after purchase. Kitchenaid has sent some sub-contracted technicians 3 times and they have gone back with fixes that have not worked for more than a day. Last time I was told after the 3rd service call they will replace it if it is not fixed... It is not fixed and now they want to send another service guy. There is also visible ice build up around the vent going into the fridge (from freezer) which the service tech has always noted in his notes as not a problem. It is partly my fault I bought this fridge despite the bad reviews, the salesman said Kitchenaid has recalled the model and fixed it... There were not many counter depth options so I bought it and landed this lemon in my house. I guess they will not replace it and continue to frustrate me with repeated calls till I just throw this garbage out of my house. At least people should know what we are dealing with here.

This is a great fridge to choose if your kitchen can only accommodate a counter depth fridge. The lights are bright when the doors are opened so things don’t get lost in the back. Very easy to keep clean. The ice maker is so fast!

We bought 6 months ago. We liked the features but were concerned about some reviews that mentioned leaking. We have not had that problem and are very happy. In retrospect, we would have liked a little more freezer space and a little less fridge. All in all, though, it has been great.

We have had this refrigerator for 2 months and nothing but problems. Had technician, sent by KitchenAid, come try to repair. He said there is no reasonable solution. After 2 months we are having to replace this nightmare. Never again!!

After 1 month i love it! Items are easy to get to, you can see everything you have. It stays nice and cold, our food seems to be lasting longer and staying fresher. The lighting is great. The pull out shelf and the soft close drawers are great. The water tastes great. The only 2 things that aren't great is the ice dispenser always seems to shoot a couple small ice pieces past the sides of our glass and lands on our floor. We've just been holding our hands on both sides to block them now. The second is we wish it had another ice maker or more capacity for ice...we just use a lot. Not game changers at all. It's a beautiful refrigerator.
