We bought this fridge a year and a half ago and it has already quit working. All customer service was willing to do is buy it back they don’t even want to try and fix. With the buy back they won’t even allow us to get the same fridge. We have to get something smaller and cheaper or they won’t do anything for us. We will never buy another whirlpool product! Ever!

Great refrigerator. A lot of space and great features. Purchased about a month ago and I’m very happy. I wish the shelves were a little more adjustable and the sliding small items bin in the freezer either went all the way front or back of the freezer tub or was removable entirely. Otherwise, appears to be good quality, well appointed and well lit. Works well.

We originally bought this refrigerator in April . . . had an issue with the first one and after multiple phone calls and miscommunications it was replaced in June (2017). Late July the second icemaker slowed down and started showing signs of leaking - I was finding slabs of ice in the ice bin. I put in a call for service and finally by the end of August had a new ice maker. Of course by this time the icemaker was completely dead . . . 4 months later, the ice maker in the door is completely dead - no warnings - it just quit working. The lower ice maker is still working but it's leaking now so I'm guessing that it's also on it's way out. Another issue with the lower ice maker is that it is supported by a bracket suspended from two screws. If the ice in the bin builds up too high when you open the freezer drawer it will knock the unit off of the screws so that it dangles behind the freezer drawer - effectively blocking the drawer from closing. This has happened to us multiple times and you have to reach up and blindly fish around until you can orient the icemaker correctly and re-hook it over the screws. I've gotten fairly good at it except for the one time it got turned around . . . it was a fun dinner party with each of us taking turns kneeling on the floor fumbling around with that thing so we could close the freezer. I am completely frustrated with this refrigerator. Truthfully, if it worked, I would love it but I can't believe the amount of time that my husband and I have wasted on service calls for this thing and we're are not done yet! I suppose we are among the fortunate since the unit is still cooling properly but after reading more reviews I'm concerned that our luck will run out in that department before long. Note that in my ratings below, I gave design 5 stars - I love the look of this refrigerator inside and out and if it WORKED it would be great! I gave quality, value and performance 1 star each because of all the problems. I really hope that Whirlpool is listening.
