Do NOT buy this washer!! Puts holes in clothes

I purchased this washer in late 2013 and have already had to replace the gasket, which costs $400. The service person told me to absolutely get the extended warranty, since the gasket is the least expensive repair on this machine. It also puts small holes in all of my cotton clothes, which I always wash on the delicate cycle. It is a horrible machine and I'm sorry that I purchased it. It is an expensive machine and I do not recommend it.

This machine is unbelievable. Whirlpool did a phenomenal job designing this washer and they didn't hold anything back. Very sleek and user friendly

I had High Efficiency front load washer before, but this one really uses very little water. Since I use HE detergent in powder form,I still need to get use to put less detergent, because If I put too much the washer will not rinse it off completely. But I like it that it uses less water and need less detergent. The other smart thing is that it has 'Fan Dry' function, that after the washing cycle completes, it ventilates the moisture out. I have to be honest, I haven't tried the steam mode in the washer. The button in in the opposite side of the panel (near detergent drawer) and I always forget to turn it on :) And another thing I am not very happy that this washer does not have ''rinse and spin'' cycle. Also the drum makes funny sound on each turn and before spinning. I suppose they put in some king of smart self balancing balls inside it to prolong the life of the bearings.
