We bought this a couple of weeks ago. I love the convection oven, the choices of burner sizes.

Haven't used it much

I have have had my stove for about 3 weeks now. I had to boil some potatoes and eggs for my churches Thanksgiving dinner and I had 3 burners going all on high and it took the water 20 or so minutes to even start to boil, I was not pleased with this, it should not take it that long to start boiling, I have also fried boneless chicken and I was pleased with the heating of the coils, It is a smart energy saving cooker so the coils will heat up and cool down, I was fascinated by that and thought it was nice. When I cleaned the stove top it was not an easy clean up, it seems like there are markings and a bubbly Paterson on the soft surface of the coils and can't get them off. My husband read up on how to clean a soft surface electric stove and they recommended using a razor blade and softly scrape it with non abrasive cleanser so he did that for me and it did do the trick, I'm really hoping this stove top does not do what other reviewers have said it has done for them! Other than that I think the stove will maybe prove to be it a great investment. It is really to soon for me to recommend this stove at this time. Thank you for allowing me to make my review, hopefully will come back after I have used it more and be able to give a better review of It.

Installation and smoke hazard

I’ll keep this short. Our Whirpool stove was installed without us actually seeing the installers put it together. Days later when we went to use the stove, we observed that oil was pooling to the bottom right of our pans. We also observed that smoke was coming from inside the stove. Very odd. I had to turn an industrial fan on to clear the the smoke from my residence and have my fire extinguisher on hand. Now, cleaning the top of the stove was a pain. Still trying to master that.

Stops working after using aqualift!

After 3 years the oven quit working. This was after using the aqualift. I called whirlpool. They would send a tech out for $269! I called a local appliance repair man and for $53 he told me the control panel burns out after using the high heat settings like after aqualift and it would cost me $500 to repair! Absolutely ridiculous that the oven's normal functions cause the control panel to burn out! This should be under manufacture warranty and should be replaced w a different model!
