Whirlpool 30" - 10.0 Cu. Ft. Self-Clean Convection Double Electric Wall Oven

First time using the self cleaning function and the fuses blew...cost me $200+ after I BEGGED the repair man to come out during a busy time to repair the oven so I had the ability to use the oven for a family event the next day. I'm afraid to use the self cleaning function because I don't want to pay that much money to fix a blown fuse again. In addition, this oven has the world's worst timer. It beeps one time and that's it. I have burned dinners/desserts on a number of occasions before I went out and bought a timer instead. Doesn't heat evenly. I have to rotate food to make sure the food towards the back doesn't burn. AND THE NOISE - this is the LOUDEST appliance in my kitchen. We have to crank the television in the next room so we can hear it when the oven is on. I am so upset that we paid so much for an appliance I hate. This is just another example of a Whirlpool product that is no good. Refrigerator has broken ice maker and now the freezer isn't working. The seal came off one of the doors and the plastic inserts in the doors have cracked. Dishwasher - the racks brake repeatedly and my husband has ordered replacement parts which also break. Right now we have the rack bound together with zip ties. Gas stove top - all the numbers and letters have worn off - so if you can't see what level the burners are on. Not really an issue for me - but when trying to teach the kids how to cook - having labels for the dials would be a plus. Overall - I am a highly dissatisfied customer.

The oven gives me an error code F1E1 and no longer works. Electronics are apparently low-quality, I'm an electrical engineer and there is no reason the controls can't be built to last 20+ years with very low failure rates.

Using the oven during the hot summer months in Las Vegas did not heat up the kitchen. The convection fan was very quiet contrary to reviews that said it was noisy. Very pleased with the double oven.

We purchased our Whirlpool double oven when we renovated our kitchen a few months ago. I must admit that at first I wasn't sure we needed a double oven but I am thrilled we chose to make this purchase. This double oven has great features and is very easy to use. We have appreciated the even baking and cooking it provides and its sleek look. It served us well when we had 37 family members over for Christmas dinner! A great addition to our new kitchen!
